Please review the information that pertains to you:
Doctoral Student Fellowship Recipients
Please note that recipients of multi-year fellowships (Graduate Center Fellows, CUNY Science Scholars, Science Fellows, Provost's Enhancement Fellows, Neuroscience Fellows, and Mathematics Fellows) and all new one-year Graduate Assistant B or Graduate Assistant D fellowship recipients must attend a Graduate Assistant Orientation during One Stop.
The graduate assistant orientations are scheduled at 9:30 am and 2 pm each day. You must register in advance for a session and bring your completed new hire packet and supporting documents to the session. International Students are advised to attend one of the two sessions on Tuesday, August 20th.
All Other Doctoral and Master’s Students
If you are a master’s student or a doctoral student with a Tuition Fellowship only or have funding from outside of the Graduate Center, you do not need to attend a Graduate Assistant Orientation, but you are welcome to attend One Stop to take care of other administrative services. For faster service, please plan to arrive at 10 am for the morning session and 2:30 pm for the afternoon session.
For All Students:
You can get your Graduate Center ID card, open your library account, find out more about your computer account and email, and ask questions about financial aid, health insurance, registration, or bill payments.
On Tuesday, August 20, the Wellness Center will offer MMR vaccinations to students, if needed. Please see the immunization page for details.
Doctoral Students on 5-year award packages or one-year Graduate Assistantship Bs or Ds, will attend a graduate assistant orientation session to be processed to payroll.
Note: Doctoral Student Multi-Year Fellowships include Graduate Center Fellows, CUNY Science Scholars, Science Fellows, Provost's Enhancement Fellows, Neuroscience Fellows, Mathematics Fellows and all new one-year Graduate Assistant B or D appointments. Doctoral Students who are receiving a Tuition Fellowship only are not required to attend a GA Orientation.
