MALS Student Receives Ernesto Malave Merit Scholarship
MALS Student is the Recipient of the Ernesto Malave Merit Scholarship of $1,500 for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Damaly Gonzalez is on her third semester in the Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies track with a focus on Public Policy. Her work is on gentrification in predominantly Latinx communities across the United States. She obtained her B.A. in Music, Media, and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Hunter College. She is the MALS Program Representative for 2018-2019 and is a participating scholar in the Climate Action Lab project, part of The Center for Humanities.
