Four-Day Workweek - Summer 2019
The Graduate School and University Center will again participate in the Four-Day Workweek program, which has been authorized to run from Monday, June 24, 2019 through Friday, August 9, 2019. The Four-Day Workweek allows staff to work an extended work schedule in lieu of the six Fridays off: June 28, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, and August 9, 2019. Employees who do not wish or are unable to work the extended schedule shall be given the option of working four regular days and charging the fifth day to annual leave. Since this year's Independence Day holiday is observed on Thursday, July 4, 2019, during the week of July 1, 2019, no extended hours of operations are required.
As a reminder to The Graduate Center's affected administrative offices and their staff, this year The Graduate Center's One-Stop Service for incoming Graduate Assistants is taking place from August 19, through August 21, 2019.
