Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)

Dear Colleagues,
 
On Sunday night, the President signed the COVID-19 Relief Bill, which extends the deadline of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act​ to provide Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Emergency FMLA leave ​until March 31, 2021. Employees are eligible to apply for paid leave when unable to work (or telework) for enumerated reasons related to COVID-19. Please review the CUNY Graduate Center's Family First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) webpage​ for more information about FFCRA including qualifying reasons, pay entitlements and leave durations. Please note that if an employee has already exhausted their FFCRA leaves, additional leave is not permitted.
 
To participate in this program, eligible employees must fill out the appropriate attestation and request form, which can be found here [cuny.edu]
