Middle States Self-Study and Team Visit
March 5, 2020
Dear Graduate School and University Center community,
The final version of the self-study has been submitted to Middle States and is now available for the GSUC community to read at the CUNY Academic Commons and on the Graduate Center Middle States page. The community is particularly encouraged to read the Executive Summary and Conclusion, and to consider ways in which their school will address the opportunities and challenges detailed in the report.
The Middle States Visiting Team will visit the GSUC schools from March 29 – April 1. Each school will be providing information to community members on the details of the visit, as it becomes available. The team will be meeting with faculty, students, and staff at each of the schools as they write their report. A full schedule will be provided closer to the visit.
The self-study has been the joint effort of faculty, students, staff, administrators, and alumni representing all of the GSUC schools. The Middle States Steering Committee and the working groups for each standard have coordinated this analysis, research, and discussion regarding compliance with the Middle States Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation which is integral to the re-accreditation.
Thank you for your participation as we move forward in the re-accreditation process.
