James Lendemer Shares Advice on How to Apply for a Postdoc on Alumni Aloud
Prof. James C. Lendemer, who graduated from The Graduate Center with a Ph.D. in biology, shares his career path, the importance of mentors, and advice on how to secure a postdoc. Lendemer is an assistant curator at the New York Botanical Garden and also teaches at The Graduate Center.
Lendemer tells us about working on his own projects at a large research and conservation institution, the importance of collaboration, and how lichens are the true unsung heroes of the ecosystem.
