	The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) will present the Victor Herbert Award on May 17 to ASCAP member Tania León, distinguished professor of music at the Graduate Center and Queens College and founder and artistic director of Composers Now Festival. The award, given during ASCAP&amp;#39;s 14th annual Concert Music Awards, will be given to León in celebration of her seventieth year and for her achievements as composer, conductor, educator, mentor, composer advocate, and exemplary musical citizen. The 2013 Concert Music Awards recognize the achievements of honorees who represent the diverse aesthetic spectrum of the concert music world.
