Online Box Office FAQs

Online Box Office

  1. What tickets can be purchased using the online box office?
The online box office sells tickets to selected Graduate Center events identified by the online box office logo. Only events requring an admission fee will use the online box office.

  2. Is the online box office the only way to purchase tickets for those events?
It is the only way to purchase advance tickets. If the event is not sold out, tickets can be purchased at the door with exact change in cash only. There are no telephone sales.

  3. Once I purchase my tickets online, what do I use for admission?
You will receive an email confirmation to use as a ticket. You must retain this confirmation and bring it with you to the event.

  4. What should I do if I don’t receive an email confirmation, or have other problems with my online ticket purchase?
    Call 212-817-8215.

  5. What about my guest’s tickets?
Your email confirmation will indicate the total number of tickets you purchased. You and your guests should plan on entering together. (If one of your guests is late, leave their name at the check-in desk.)

  6. If I purchase a ticket and forget to bring my email confirmation, can I still get in?
It is best to bring your email confirmation, but there will be a record at the door of tickets purchased.

  7. Are tickets for specific seats?
No, all tickets are for general admission. Arrive early for the best choice of seats.

  8. When should I arrive?
You should arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow time to gain entrance and claim your seat/s.

  9. Will I be admitted if I arrive late?
Once the program has started, late arrivals will be admitted at a point to be determined by the ushers, when it will least disturb the audience and program participants.

  10. Are ticket purchases refundable?
