Home Overview

The James Gallery, at 365 Fifth Avenue (34th Street), is a museum-quality space for the display of artworks in all media. Facing Fifth Avenue on the main floor of the building, the Art Gallery is perhaps the most visible focal point of The Graduate Center's campus. Exhibitions and related activities encompass a spectrum of scholarly interests, offer students in The Graduate Center's Ph.D. Program in Art History an opportunity to gain valuable curatorial experience, and engage the public's interest.
