| In the fall of 2009, with the generous support of the Baisley Powell Elebash Foundation, the Graduate Center launches a provocative evening music series: Concerts & Conversations. In six events over the course of the year, Concerts & Conversations will gather together luminaries of the music world—star musicians, internationally celebrated composers, distinguished music critics, eminent musicologists—and combine world-class performance with illuminating discussion. Showcasing the Graduate Center’s highly regarded doctoral program in music, as well as the intimate and acoustically rich Elebash Recital Hall, the series promises to be a luminous addition to New York City’s musical landscape. |
