Psychology Student Wins Award from Society of Behavioral Medicine
The Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) has given doctoral candidate Kristi E. Gamarel (Basic and Applied Social Psychology) a Distinguished Student Award for Excellence in Research for 2014. She was one of two to receive the award at SBM’s Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony in Philadelphia on April 26. Her current research focuses on how gay male couples cope with chronic illness and its impact on psychological, relational, sexual, and physical health.
