Dissertation Proposals:
Dissertation Proposals: The Fall 2013 Dissertation Proposal Committee will meet at 2PM on Friday, October 11, 2013. Those who have submitted proposals will be assigned a time to meet with the committee. Those submitting a proposal from outside the NY area are not required to attend the meeting. Proposals for the October 11, 2013 meeting should be submitted electronically to the committee chair, Norman Carey ncarey@gc.cuny.edu no later than 5 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2013.
Any proposal that cannot be submitted electronically may be submitted to the Music Office in four hard copies. Each proposal must be supported by prospective advisors and first readers. Letters of support should be emailed to ncarey@gc.cuny.edu before the day of the meeting. Late proposals, or proposals without two letters of support, will not be considered.
