Director of Visual Resources
The Ph.D. Program in Art History has constructed, under the guidance of Director of Visual Resources Carol Lees, its own online database of digital images: CUNYdid. The Visual Resources Center continues to add high-quality images suitable for projection in the classroom to the database in support of the teaching of art history at the Graduate Center. Each lecture course at the Graduate Center requires approximately 600 images which are scanned, edited, catalogued, and uploaded to the CUNYdid system. Currently, the Visual Resources Center is adding approximately 20,000 images per year to its database.
