Sonia Gonzalez (CSH, 2009 cohort) has just been awarded a Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award from the National Institutes of Health. The title of her project is “Piloting a Mobile App for HIV Risk Reduction among Young Latinas & Black Females.”
Janice Chisholm (HPM, 2010 cohort) conducted an oral presentation of her paper titled “Retrospective Self-Reports of ADHD: Predictor of Risky HealthBehaviors and Life Outcomes?” at this year’s Add Health 2012 Annual Conference.
Stephanie St. Pierre (CSH, 2008 cohort) presented on “Global Indigenous Women’s Movements, Feminisms and Food in Indian Country” this summer at the Global Gateways and Local Connections: Cities, Agriculture, and the Future of Food Systems conference. She will also be presenting “Effective use of hybrid courses in undergraduate public health education” at this year’s APHA conference.
