Network Printers Name & Title Change
In an effort to make our printing environment user friendly, we have recently adopted a new naming convention for all of our network printers and the names will start to automatically change starting with the Z level tonight and going all the way up to the 9th floor next week Friday. We will migrate 1-2 floors per night. The change will be seamless and you should not find any disruption during the day. I recommend you logoff before you go home at the end of the day and please contact the Help Desk if you encounter any issues at Extension 7300.
We will also have a technician available on each floor after the change has taken place, to make sure priority is given to any user who encounters an unanticipated error when printing.
