Description

“Transforming a grammar-oriented syllabus into a task-based syllabus”

We will review the principles of task-based instruction and then we will walk through one complete task cycle (examples in English and Italian)–all participants will be asked to “perform” a concrete task. All participants will then be given time to outline a complete task cycle for use in their classrooms. Two volunteers will conclude the session by walking us through their task cycles and asking us to do a mini-performance.
