Masters in 21st Century City for All

Through 'Toward a 21st Century City for All,' we engage leaders from diverse communities to air their views about these issues, discuss their differences, and move towards a shared policy framework for governing the city toward more broadly shared prosperity.

Masters in Liberal Studies

The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies places an emphasis on rigorous scholarship, original research and intellectual collaboration within twenty-two tracks of interdisciplinary study. The MALS program is comprised of thirty-credits including an introductory course, two core track-based classes, six electives chosen from a vast array of offerings, and a final thesis. MALS classes are taught as seminars by the distinguished faculty of the Graduate Center, and students have the resources of New York City and the entire CUNY system at their disposal.
