Under the direction of the Assistant Program Officer and the Executive Officer, the College Assistant will assist with the daily operation of the program and program office.
 
Responsibilities:
-Record keeping
-Correspond with students, applicants, faculty and administration
-Maintain program files and record cards
-Answer and route telephone and in-person inquiries
-Prepare class and exam scheduling materials
-Prepare committee agendas and meeting materials
-Maintain program database and events calendar
-Prepare registration materials, schedules, and procedures
-Schedule meetings and program events
-Disseminate program information to students and faculty

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma
 
Preferred Qualifications:
-One year of office/administrative experience preferred
-Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
-Ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive and/or confidential matters on behalf of the Program
-Ability to work independently, prioritize, and problem-solve successfully
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Good organizational skills

Salary Range

$16.00 per hour
